Bekind Skincare Review | I used it for 6 months and it cleared my acne

I’ll be sharing about my skincare journey and how I managed to clear my worst acne to rather decently acne-free skin now within half a year.

Between facial treatment and skincare, which do you think is more important? I’d say 50-50, depending on your skin concerns as well. But I have neglected my skin for too damn long, skipping my skincare regime on days, or simply causing more damage to it.

After my extraction facial with My Cozy Room, my acne-prone skin was actually still flaring up in that month. To be honest, it was already in a much better state, I mean you can’t expect miracles to happen with just one session right? And my skin was in a super sensitive and reactive state at that point of time. This is where the skincare routine plays a huge role in clearing up my acne.

I’ve been using BeKind for a few years but it was always inconsistent (that’s why I was also not getting proper results). After having the worst acne break out in my life, I learnt my lesson and made sure I followed every step diligently. You really have to be patient as this process takes time and you can’t expect to see visible results immediately.

Here are some of the BeKind products that I swear by and can’t live without:

 1. BeKind Skin Perfector

GIRLS you can throw out your concealer if you’re just going for a no-makeup makeup look.

I’ve completely stopped using concealer ENTIRELY after trying out this product as it doesn’t clog my pores while providing a decent coverage for my acne scars. I have tried putting it on my face and heading for a workout and it still doesn’t clog my pores. In fact, there’s an ingredient Ginseng that heals active acne. I’ve tried applying for the entire day and my pimple became smaller. Amazing???

 2. BeKind Clear Skin Elixir

This elixir is really effective for acne prone skin and does not have harsh ingredients like retinol, which explains why it’s suitable for super sensitive skin like mine. In fact, I could apply this on my skin multiple times a day. It has a minty sensation that comes from the peppermint which controls acne inflammation. As it’s in a small ampoule bottle, I bring it out whenever I am having breakouts to apply on the go. Even though it is slightly on the higher price as compared to a regular acne product due to its sizing, it is absolutely effective in controlling serious break outs.

 3. BeKind Calming Skin Elixir

With sensitive skin problems, my face can be quite red especially after a shower. This calming skin elixir is very gentle on my skin and helps to alleviate some redness and sensitivity. Although I have already lessened my usage with this elixir after my skin has became more stable, no doubt this is a super effective product if you are having bad flare ups.

 4. BeKind SOS Cream

The SOS cream is an accompanying product that is great for acne-prone skin, and it’s more suitable as a long-term solution as compared to the clear skin elixir. I love how it helps to repair my skin barrier especially after a facial/ laser treatment. I personally think that this is more effective on whiteheads/ clogged pores than individual inflamed acne. If you’re having a 1 specific inflamed acne on your skin, use their Acne Drying Lotion instead.

 5. BeKind Hydro Balance Cream

I am using this as a moisturiser and a base before I apply the skin perfector to hydrate my skin. This cream doesn’t leave a sticky/ tacky feeling, and my tinted sunscreen blends really well on it keeping my skin moisturised throughout the day.

These are other products that I use as well. They’re good too but the above list is really crucial for my skin.

1. BeKind Pre and Probiotics Cleanser
2. BeKind Purifying Cleanser
3. BeKind Hyaluronic Repair Serum
