Review | Mylo's | Pet-friendly Gelato Cafe @ Gardens By The Bay

I brought Kuro to Gardens by the Bay for an outing last month and visited a rather new pet-friendly gelato cafe around the corner called Mylo’s Cafe, which was formerly occupied by Fennel Cafe Active Garden. This beautiful glasshouse cafe is a great spot to hang out with your pets after a tiring walk along the garden.

This spacious cafe features full-sized windows providing ample natural sunlight and gorgeous views. Although pets are only allowed outdoors, the space was fully sheltered and there were comfortable sofa seats, which saved me from the sweltering heat. If your dogs are tired from long walks, it’s a great place to stop by and enjoy some gelato (together with your pups). Yes! They serve iced pupsicles and baked treats for dogs too!

You might be slightly disappointed if you’re looking for a proper meal as they do not serve mains at this cafe. However, there is a decent range of beverages and pastries that you can choose from.

Pick from over 20 freshly made gourmet gelato flavours with some exotic choices such as Singapore Sling, Pavlova, Burrata & Pink Pepper and more. I wasn’t being adventurous that day so we sticked to rather basic flavors like Caramel Coffee and Earl Grey with waffles. You can also choose from cone, cup or grilled brioche bun.

Gelato prices: $6 (single scoop)/ $9 (double scoop)

Other pastries selections include croissants, banana cake, lemon meringue tarts and more.

We bought 2 pupsicles – Bone Broth and Yogurt & fruit for $5 each for the dogs, and they gave us dog treats on the house to receive some feedback. Kuro, being the usual picky boy, couldn’t finish the entire pupsicle and Goldie just helped to finish it entirely. They also provide dog bowls and water at the outdoor area in case your dogs get thirsty.

I think the waffles are slightly dry and not the best I’ve tried, but the gelato was pretty delicious with strong flavours coming through. The texture was quite creamy and milky as well. There is definitely room for improvement for the waffles though.

Perhaps I would give the Gelato sandwich a go next time when there is a chance!
