I recently went to Soul Coffee at Kinex Mall for the second time, and I was really glad to be able to try the Crystal Aura Reading experience this time round! I’ve actually tried tarot card reading 2 years ago, but I wasn’t introduced to aura reading back then and have always been curious how it’s like and what are the differences. After I’ve posted a few snippets on my IG stories, people were quite interested in finding out more from my experience. So I guess most people are familiar with tarot cards but not aura reading in general.
Soul Coffee has a really beautiful interior with an immersive digital screen that showcases floor-to-ceiling projections of aquariums, sakura flowers, and many more. The cafe by itself is already worth a visit due to its instagrammable features. On top of that, they also have a very interesting horoscope drink concept where you can order Aries, Scorpio, Taurus coffee and mocktail. Although my horoscope is Aries, I tried other horoscopes as I didn’t like the flavour combination for mine. I honestly wished that they have horoscopes for their cakes too!
For the Crystal Aura Reading, they are currently having a bundle – 2 pax for $58 (which comes with 2 complimentary cake slices of your choice).
The reading was done in a “secret room” somewhere in the cafe so there’s a lot of privacy! I started off by holding onto a bag of crystals and chanted my name in my head a few times (I think 3 times?), and proceeded to think of the questions genuinely and sincerely in silence without saying them out yet.
Next, I picked out the crystal stones from the bag one by one and place it on the body chart. The reader did a prediction based on my questions and the colour of the crystals. Besides that, he also briefly mentioned about my personality which my friend and I felt was quite accurate. It wasn’t something too generic which can be easily guessed.
He actually gave me an advice to wear socks to sleep due to potential numbness in my feet. And strange enough, just 1-2 days ago, I had a sudden numbness on the feet sole. Nothing serious, it has happened to me before when I have bad circulation but it’s also quite rare. (maybe once in a blue moon) So I thought that was pretty apt.
There were a few other advices/ predictions for my relationship and career but for privacy sake, I won’t be sharing it here. I did not keep track of the duration but I felt like it was a sufficient amount of time for the price.
Unfortunately, my friend’s readings weren’t too accurate. I guess it really depends on individual so take the experience with a pinch of salt and just have fun!
