I guess sometimes you just buy things on impulse by the allure of novelty. Okay, maybe partly because of content. But yea, I probably regretted (a little) on spending $10 on a cup of latte at Puzzle Coffee, which is the famous Melbourne Cafe’s first international outlet. Before you start rolling your eyes and go, what.. $10 for coffee? There was something special about their drinks, which was the viral edible coffee cup and it requires a top up of $3 to the hot drink that you have ordered.

I have been seeing the viral cup that looks like a corkboard on my feed this whole time, and while walking to orchard MRT, I walked past Puzzle Coffee and decided that it was my day to try it. I ordered the Biscoff latte but it is actually non-coffee based, so they told me that I could add an espresso shot in for an extra $1.
And so for the sake of taking instagrammable pics and for all the hype that has been on social media, I also topped up $3 for the edible cookie cup. It actually has the texture of a wooden corkboard. Upon taking my first bite, my face totally frowned though. There wasn’t much taste and the texture was a little soggy. The cup was also really small so the portion was quite little as well.

They also serve other pastries and interesting drinks like Strawberry Matcha Latte.
Will I try it again? Maybe other drinks!
