As a Pokemon fan, imagine the thrills I was going through when I heard that Singapore’s cable cars will be converted into Pokeballs with unique pokemon designs within the cabin to celebrate Mount Faber Leisure’s 50th Anniversary. By 1 May 2023, all 67 cable cars at Mount Faber will be transformed, but I was lucky enough to preview this event in advance. They did not provide any dress code but I love being extra, so I showed up to the event in brown with a Eevee hairband, and some Eevee accessories to go along with my outfit.
The cable car was a Pokeball design and there were a total of 5 different interior cable car designs – Pikachu, Eevee, Fuecoco, Sprigatito and Quaxly. And guess who’s lucky enough to get on the eevee one on the first try? Eevee luck! But I was super glad to be in a matching outfit to take plenty of nice photos.
Besides the beautifully decorated cable cars, there are also 12 different creative standees from the arrival area to the 2nd level of the cable car station! You can pose with your favourite pokemons!
While we had unlimited cable car rides, we only did a round trip and on our 2nd try, we had Sprigatito! There were stationary cable cars for us to snap photos in so we didn’t have to do so many trips as well. They provided us with these cute Pokemon visors which are also available to the public if you purchase Mount Faber Line cable car tickets and bundles (while stocks last)
We had our dinner and cocktail served at Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro after the event, and food was delicious!
