I can’t believe that I used to dislike Salted Egg flavour in the past, but I grew to love it when it started trending in Singapore years ago. Irvins is proud to present a new flavour – Truffle potato chips, and I was excited to give it a try at the Irvins new launch event last week.
At the event, aside from trying out the new flavour, we were given the opportunity to experiment dipping its truffle potato chips with various dips and sauces, such as mayonnaise, cheese, tartar sauce, and more. Not forgetting their signature salted egg sauce which was actually the most complementary to the chips in my opinion.
Ice cream dip was a quirky choice and sadly it didn’t work for me. I thought the taste was quite weird. But of course, if you love that combination, I’m not gonna judge ☺️
Truffle flavour can sometimes taste slightly artificial, but not with Irvins. Their truffle potato chips are made with real dried summer truffles delicately sourced from Italian woodlands to produce the nutty and earthy flavour that is truly addictive.
I had a chance to also try their Black Pepper Salmon Skin and wowwww, the flavour was so aromatic and it tasted like the real deal – I thought I was having Black Pepper Crab.
