Review | LUMOS NANO Smart Projector | Home Cinema Experience

Fighting over the TV with your siblings or not having sufficient privacy when you invite your significant other over to your place for a cuddly movie session? And sometimes you just want to snuggle in bed under some thick and cozy blanket to watch a movie but sadly you don’t have a TV in the room. Oh and cinema movie tickets are getting more and more expensive these days.

With LUMOS projectors, you can now enjoy a home cinematic experience in the comfort of your own place conveniently with just a few clicks and simple setup. You know how projectors can be really bulky and heavy to handle? LUMOS has recently launched a new NANO Smart Projector which is compact and small, and it comes with DLP display technology, auto screen adjustment, touch pad & Android 9.0 system.

The NANO Smart Projector set comes with a projector, remote control, connecting cables, adaptor and a mini tripod stand. You can also choose to top up $55 for the RIZE stand

I almost couldn’t believe how small a projector can be, which has the size of a mini portable speaker, or in fact almost like a can of drink. It weighs less than 400g, making it so convenient and portable to bring it around to a friend’s house or even overseas.

Don’t be fooled by its small size though, the projector is engineered with powerful Dolby Audio speakers which produces immersive and rich sound quality. It also comes with Premium DLP Tech with 1,500 lumens, which allows the colours to be more vivid and clear in darkness and not the usual grainy outcome like most other projectors in comparison.

Nothing beats watching your favourite film on a huge screen. Simply cast the projector onto any blank wall or even 100″ full-blown screen on the ceiling if you do not have a ceiling fan installed in the room.
The projector comes with an Android 9.0 operating system and 2 popular in-built apps YouTube and Netflix, loved by most Singaporeans and myself too. Late night movies are never the same again.
Besides watching shows and listening to music, you can even play games or conduct video calls! I even mirrored my phone to the wall through screen mirroring function on iPhone to play Pokemon Unite. No doubt it is a little challenging to find the buttons but it was a fun and unique gaming experience.

LUMOS has received hundreds of 5 stars reviews from Singaporeans, and I can totally understand why!

The LUMOS NANO is affordably priced at only S$599 with 1-year local warranty.
(Available for shipping in Singapore & Malaysia)
