There’s so many KBBQ places around Singapore, and just within CBD area itself there is already a huge variety of options to choose from. What makes a korean restaurant stands out aside from its food quality is the variety of choices. I personally do not prefer to just have barbecue dishes and being the glutton that I am, I would prefer to have different dishes during the meal.
And for the bonus, Eee Mo BBQ serves Ganjang gejang (raw marinated crabs) which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE EATING.
The menu is quite extensive, offering a wide variety of dishes that go beyond the average selection. But to keep things simple while being able to try different food, we went for the BBQ promo set ($79 per pax) which includes:
- Beef outside skirt
- Beef short plate
- Iberico pork neck (2 different servings)
- Grilled eel
- Fried webfoot octopus
- Grilled spareribs
- Seafood pancake
- Steamed egg
- Riceballs
I would high recommend to opt for the raw marinated crabs. If you’ve tried this before or if you’re a sashimi lover in general, you will know how good it tastes!! Super umami and fresh. To maximise the flavours, you can even add in the riceball to the remaining crab roe and sauce.
Between the beef and pork, I surprisingly enjoyed the pork a lot more as it was super juicy. In contrast, the beef was a little gamey for my liking. But the best was actually the unagi (eel), and I am truly shocked because I usually do not enjoy eel. I loved it so much that I took both pieces as my friend didn’t want it. The texture was so good and it was coated with a sweet and savoury sauce.
So if you and your friends are looking for a good KBBQ place but prefer a wide variety of different dishes, I recommend Eee Mo BBQ!
