Besides good protection from COVID-19, comfort and aesthetics are important for masks too! After all, face masks have become an integral part of our lives and for some, it’s turning into fashion as well. Who else would pay for a pretty-looking mask instead of the usual blue and white disposable masks? Raise your hands!
Fabric masks no doubt have some of the best designs, and can even be customised with your preferred cartoon themes. Unfortunately, they’re usually lacking in terms of protection. Meanwhile, certain disposable/ medical masks are just really uncomfortable to wear for the entire day. If the quality isn’t good, you’re prone to getting Maskne too.
Shoppwp has a good range of 3d masks which I have shared about it here before. But my recent favourite is their Savewo 3DMEOW Medical Masks (For Kidults), which is shaped like a cat face in pastel colours like Pink, White and Blue.
As the mask has a 3d shape, there is minimal contact between the mask and my skin, which results in less makeup being transferred to the inner layers of the mask. In that sense, less sweat and oil is also accumulated which is better for skin in the long run. It’s also very breathable and comfortable to wear for long hours.
The overall design is really cute and girly, suitable for those who like such pastel and feminine things!

The certifications and test results of Savewo Masks also give me the extra assurance that I’m well protected from the virus! I can’t really trust random masks that are sold online on Shopee / Carousell as they may not have the necessary filter that helps to keep out the virus. Furthermore, some of the materials may not be of good quality and may cause breakouts on my sensitive skin.
