Blisshouse Theme Restaurant

Blisshouse Theme Restaurant is really a place where you can feel bliss and true joy with your loved ones and friends! I suggested this restaurant to celebrate New Year with my family this year as I wanted a pretty place for lovely photos to be taken and kept for sweet and happy memories.

Blisshouse has created a theme restaurant based on “love” and thus named the place called “Garden of Eden”. Blisshouse has also incorporated fairy tales into the theme which explains the green pastures with elegant and beautiful white roses blossoming around the area, with a romantic vintage vibe across the entire restaurant.

I absolutely adore floral and vintage styles! This place is like the perfect place for taking wedding photos! I would honestly rather carry out any birthday or wedding functions at Blisshouse than to have them at an expensive grand hotel.

I chose this white dress paired with brown weaved belt and brown strappy wedges to carry the vintage and sweet look. I love how the dress reveals part of my shoulder. And my OOTD matches the Blisshouse theme!

Pink and white roses are my favourite! Maybe blue too, but they are so rare. The colour combination of both colours look extra sweet and romantic.

This reminds me of the beautiful coach that was made by Fairy Godmother for Cinderella!

At Blisshouse, almost every furniture is furnished with beautiful and elegant white decors. One of my favourite displays, filled with candy jars!!! *Greedy me*

And there are so many cute fluffy teddy bears around the place!

A family photo at Blisshouse elegant sofa that resembles furniture only for the rich in the Romantic era. I’m with the princess crown hehehe

A very classic type of fountain at the corner of the restaurant.

As you walk into the restaurant, you will be awed by the beautiful and delicate displays of figurines and vintage decors. So timeless and elegant that I felt like I have stepped into another world! Have I mentioned before how much I love such furniture and style? I would really love to hold my wedding in a similar place like this in the future!

Every detail is so intricate and well-crafted.  Everything here is so meticulously designed! Having cute teddy bears inside a wine glass is quite a nice display, I think it would be a great idea to have a set placed on my house’s dining table after renovation!

For ladies who are getting married, you can even try the wedding dresses here! Some of the gowns look quite pretty!

And the perfect elegant chandelier cannot be missed out for the vintage classy feel!

There were so many props to camwhore with too! One of my favourite section! Filled with tiaras, floral headbands, masquerade masks, X’mas hats, wands and more! So fairytale like! I regretted not wearing the floral headband to take photos with the decorations. I only saw it after most photos have been taken.

And a classy grand piano for me to play!

A sweet pair of angel wings. Ahhh everything here is so lovely!

After all the pretty and sweet stuff, here comes the exciting part, which is FOOD! Eating delicious food in a beautiful ambience is just perfect!

Wild Mushroom Soup

Sautéed Wild Mushroom puree topped with Truffle Oil droplets served with Crostini

$8

I’m not a fan of mushrooms and at times I hate it, but I love mushroom soup! That’s kinda weird I know. But this is really flavourful! I think mushroom soup is best served when the texture is thick. A perfect dish to start off my dinner.

Spicy Blue Mussels

Fresh Mussels sautéed with Garlic, Chilli and Basil in a light self-made Tomato Sauce served with Baguette

$16

Out of all that we ordered, this was the not-so-worth-it dish. $16 for a few mussels is definitely not that satisfying. But the self-made tomato sauce did make up for the quantity of the dish. The sauce is so powerful and rich in spicy tomato flavour. It would have been perfect if there was pasta in it.

Angel Capellini Prawns

Capellini with Garlic, Cherry Tomatoes, Basil, Chilli with White Wine Butter reduction topped with pan-seared Prawns

$22

This was my order. I was immediately attracted to the name itself, and prawns are just one of my favourite delicacy. Luckily, the pasta did not disappoint me a single bit. It was a tantalizing surprise to my taste buds. The prawns were so crunchy and juicy, and it’s definitely not the lousy small shrimps. The pasta is well-balanced and not too dry. I really never regretted ordering this.

Tomato Braised Lamb Shank

Lamb Shank braised overnight in Balsamic Vinegar, Prunes, Crushed Tomatoes and Veal Jus served with Boiled Vegetables with Truffle Mash

$28

I never liked lamb so I can’t really comment on this dish, but according to my dad and brother, they really liked the dish a lot!

Parma Ham wrapped Salmon

Salmon wrapped with Parma Ham sous vide then finish in oven. Served with Roasted Potatoes, Garden Salad and Leek White Wine Sauce

$28

The salmon meat was tender and soft, a very appetizing dish. However, the downside is that the piece look quite small. You might want to order it with a starter to fill your stomach if you have a hungry appetite! I did not try the sides.

Linguine Vongole

Linguine tossed with Fresh Clams, Garlic, Chilli, Basil and White Wine Butter reduction

$20

The sauce is appealing and tasty, which makes a great complement to the linguine and clams. But if you are those who do not favour soup pasta, then this is not the dish for you.

Tiramisu

Traiditional Italian recipe tiramisu with a kick of Kahlua liquor served with dark chocolate coco powder

$11

I eyed for this dessert the moment I looked through the dessert menu. The texture is so velvety and creamy. Every bite makes me yearn for more! It would have been better if the chocolate is more bittersweet and there wasn’t much liquor taste in it too. Overall, the dessert tasted awesome but I would prefer a tiramisu with more layers and coffee taste.

Bacon & Eggs Crème Brulee

Bacon infused cream made into a velvetie custard slow baked to perfection topped with caramel crust

$9

I really love this dessert so much! The egg custard is so silky smooth and sweet. The top crust is so crispy with Bacon bursting with flavour in my mouth. The savoury taste of the dessert is unique as I have not really tasted salty flavours in desserts before. But the overall combination is really great and I absolutely love it! I wouldn’t mind going back for more!

Overall it was an awesome experience for us! Ambience is definitely very important for me when I choose to dine at a restaurant. The atmosphere is perfect – romantic, sweet and cosy. For such a beautiful environment, the price that we are paying for is definitely worth the price. After all, we seldom get the chance to take such pretty photos elsewhere for free. The food is no doubt very delicious too! I would love to visit this restaurant some time again!
