Do you know that a 10 minute jump of Trampoline is equivalent to 30 min of run?
I had quite a fair bit of childhood fun at AMPED Trampoline Park with my bf and his friends this weekend! I was a tad disappointed when I first stepped into the place as it looked quite simple and plain. Except that I was a little excited about the sponge area, I immediately thought of the colourful ball pools at bouncy castles that I used to love when I was much younger.
Just in case you didn’t know, Trampoline jumping has many benefits:
☺ Increase the density of the bones
☺ Prevents fractures and the development of osteoporosis
☺ Efficient in reducing the risk of arthritis and the pain of arthritic joints because it improves the functioning of tendons, joints and ligaments
☺ Increases one’s motor skills and the bilateral functions of the brain
☺ Improves the learning skills in a child by making them learn to control bodily movements
It took a little while to adapt to the bouncy feeling of the trampoline as it was not easy to jump on it and land properly. Bf tried to jump on his first try and landed flat on his face. Sorry but I burst out laughing! HAHA.
Do note that socks must be worn at all times. Non-slip socks are sold for $3 per pair and it provides a better grip but I felt that my own socks was good enough and didn’t want to spend extra money on it.
You also have to fill in a waiver form for participant agreement.
Check out some of the jump shots I took for the guys.
BEST SHOT OF THE DAY! Boyf doing a flying kick!
Ah Xian doing backflip!
Some of the half-failed shots as I clicked at the wrong timing..
Bao Hui jumping down!!
And looks like Yong Jun is falling into the sponge pool hahaha.
I did a back-facing shot because I look terrible from the front with my hair flying around.. Then the guys photobomb hahaha.
Lets add on some “bullying” photos. How to bully? Just keep jumping on the same trampoline when your friend is sitting or lying down. Everyone join in and have some jumping fun together so that your friend cannot get up at all!
Actually, half the time I was taking photos of everyone. I was actually having some serious cough that day so I couldn’t really play much PLUS I was quite afraid of doing some stunts like backflip/ somersault. (Somersault in water I can..) I also realized that when you are jumping with another person on the same trampoline, you get lifted even higher than when you’re doing it on your own!
And everyone looking at bf trying to jump off the trampoline wall hahah.
Brian and Bao Hui doing hand stand stunts.
Wei Quan and Angie getting bullied hahaha. And guess who broke 2 trampolines HAHA.
This is what happens when a group of crazy guys get together and have some fun.
It’s a great bonding experience for everyone and also perfect for family outing. I think kids will especially enjoy this place if they are active and loves to hop and jump around. At the Trampoline Park, you won’t have to worry about your child as there are cushions around and it is unlikely to get injured if you follow the rules! I had an enjoyable experience over here! But just some general advice, if you’re a beginner, 1 hour is probably more than enough because most of us felt super tired by then. See how shagged we look!
On a side note, I had a terrible experience at the toilet just behind the hawker centre… I faced my biggest fear. Maybe one of my biggest fear – cockroaches!!! OMG, there are easily 10 dead cockroaches around the whole area – inside and outside of the girl’s toilet. Was already prepared to scream and run out if I spot any ALIVE.. Crazy. Better be prepared if you are scared like me!!
