Media Invite: Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Launch

If you ask me, what is the one of the important requirements of my ideal laptop?

I would definitely answer, “Weight”.

As technology advances, gone are those days where you have to sit in front of a bulky PC to do your work. Of course, PC still exists and many are still using it. But laptops have become more commonly used due to its portability and convenience. No matter how portable it may seem, carrying a 1.5-2kg laptop to school everyday is no joke.

But when Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is launched, you won’t have to worry about that anymore. The Surface Pro 3 tablet can be easily slipped even into most ladies’ handbags!

I was invited to Microsoft Surface Pro 3 launch last week and I got to know more about the functions of this tablet. To be honest, I was quite intrigued by some of the features and I was actually tempted to get one myself! Just that my Macbook Air is still pretty new.. Haha.

Was really glad to met some familiar faces there – Rosental and Michelle! Of course, selfies and photos were not spared hehe.

Stepping on a giant size Surface Pro 3 haha.. (Or did we shrink? :x)

The presentations were made more interesting as we were given Bingo cards to play with. Instead of playing the old school way, we had to circle the icons that were presented by the speakers. For e.g. If the speaker mentioned the word Xbox, then you circle Xbox. I didn’t win though (Not my lucky day haha)

Besides the Surface Pro 3, they also showed us the Nokia Lumia and Xbox One.

You can also open a blank OneNote document with a click of the Surface Pen to instantly capture your next idea–even if your device is in sleep mode.

Refined to its essential elements, Surface Pro 3 is as beautiful as it is functional so you can stay productive from anywhere. Just slip it into your bag or backpack and go

Revolutionary laptop

Offering unmatched versatility, you can go from tablet to laptop in a snap with the multi-position Kickstand and Surface Pro Type Cover.3 Magnetic stability keeps the Surface Pro Type Cover steady, so you can work just as comfortably on your lap as at your desk. Plus, you can easily connect your peripherals and transfer files via a full-size USB 3.0, microSD card reader and Mini DisplayPort.4

My personal thoughts?

I really love the light-weighted and sleek design of it! Best of all, it includes a portable keyboard where you can detach it easily whenever you don’t need it! It would actually make a great tool for typing notes in class (Oh, you can even write notes with their digital pen), doing presentations, replying emails, blogging even when you’re outside! I have also taken a look at the graphics and it’s super awesome! You know I’m not so much of a tech savvy person but I can actually tell how clear the graphics are when they played the videos on it (Even from a distance). There are actually many other great features that I can’t name out all. These are just some of the priorities I’ll look out for!

I was hoping to get my hands on one of those! But $$$$$$$. Plus I have already gotten a Macbook less than a year ago.

Thanks Microsoft and Fiona for the invite!
