The party was held at Lime House and I met quite a few familiar faces there! There was a manicure booth set up by Pink Parlour and also free Ice-cream from Marble Slab Creamery! Enjoy the photos! (:

Curry Goat with Rice
The meat is first cubed and then marinated overnight with their homemade curry powder consisting of coriander, cumin and caraway seeds, fenugreek, dried chilli, and turmeric. No wonder the curry tasted so flavoursome and rich. If only they had more sauce over the dish!
Jerk chic with sweet potato
Jerk spice features scotch bonnet peppers, among the hottest in the world, and all spice. The chicken is marinated overnight in a wet marinade. During cooking, more spice is added so that the meat is fully infused with flavour. I love how this dish is spiced up with a tangy flavour to it.
Fried Fish with Escovitch
Parrot fish is marinated overnight in lemon, lime and a blend of herbs – coriander, garlic, ginger and thyme. It is then coated with flour, pan fried and served with a ragout made of coconut cream with okra and spinach. It is topped with a mix of vegetables including bell peppers, Spanish onions and chillies in a pickling sauce of vinegar , pimento, bay leaf and pepper-corn. The texture of this dish is just perfect and the taste is well complemented with the coconut cream. My fave!
Marble Slab Creamery
The dark chocolate was not too overpowering but unfortunately it was already melting when I asked for a serving. Would love to try other flavours next time!
