I’m so super happy to satisfy my cravings at STRICTLY PANCAKES with boyf today!! (ˆڡˆ)
Not usually a huge fan of pancakes, well.. I would say seldom.
Whenever I think of pancakes, they seem to me to be like those boring plain ones with maybe just additional butter and maple syrup. Exactly like the ones at Mcdonalds. Recently tried their new Strawberry hotcakes and it was not worth it :< All I was given was just extra Strawberry Jam and it wasn’t too nice either.
I love fancy food, it’s just too irresistible for food lovers like me, and especially because I’m a girl HAHA.
And I swear the pancakes here already look so delicious & yummy without even tasting it yet.

It was a 10-15 minute walk from Bugis but it was all worth it! And here’s what we ordered…
STRAWBERRY & CO. ($10)
As appetizing as it looks, the pancake is extremely pleasant to my taste buds! It was an awesome combination of strawberries, 3 pancakes with a layer of custard cream (I suppose), and a scoop of Vanilla ice-cream. It was probably the best pancakes I’ve ever tasted in my life.. The Vanilla ice-cream, to my surprise, was also just sweet to my liking and it was very rich in the Vanilla flavour. So toothsome!!
I never had pancakes in layers before. I usually eat them separately but today I tried it this way, and it was much nicer! Besides, there was only one layer of cream, so I could spread it out among my three pancakes like this more easily 😀
THE DRUGGIE ($11)
Like its name, I think its for Chocolate addicts like my boy. I had one bite and shuddered at the taste of the strong Chocolate pancakes. Never a fan of Chocolate flavoured food, I only can accept minimal amount of Chocolates. But he had ONE word to describe this plate of pancakes – Diabetes. Yes, totally explains all. The sweetness was very much overpowering to the taste buds.
For chocolate lovers, you could indulge in this dish with three CHOCOLATE pancakes served with CHOCOLATE ice-cream sprinkled with CHOCOLATE flakes & sliced strawberries topped off with their homemade CHOCOLATE sauce.
SO MUCH CHOCOLATE .___.
Before I decided to have sweet pancakes for the day, I found my eyes hooked onto this dish – Garlic Buttered Prawns with pancake. I think anything that goes with butter & garlic would be great! I shall try that next time! We’re DEFINITELY coming back for more and my boy says that the smell of the fries was reaaaaalllyyy tempting him so much.
Strictly Pancakes also serve a couple of different Coffee drinks (My fave!) – Ice Blended Coffee Latte, Ice Blended Mocha Latte and Ice Blended Hazelnut Latte are something that I would love to try as well
