Nutty Cookies

It’s always nice to be munching on a few cookies with a cuppa nice cold coffee on the side. And you don’t have to worry on calories gain with Re- Nutty Cookies, which are vegan and 100% natural. The taste was quite light and had a mild nutty fragrance. Though I prefer cookies that have a shortbread crumbly texture, these are still quite nice considering that they are made from healthier and gluten-free ingredients than my usual choices.

Cashew Butter

An alternative to the usual peanut butter, Re- Cashew Butter is rich and creamy, without being cloying and sweet as there is no added sugar (100% natural)! Besides using it for spreads, I think it would be a great addition to Acai bowls which is a healthier version to cookie butter.

Do remember to stir the contents thoroughly till it becomes a smooth and buttery consistency, as the oil and solids were separated previously. It took me a good few minutes but the results are surely worth the effort!

Instant Coffee

Instant Coffee aren’t always the best choices of coffee, but for the convenience and affordability, it’s no doubt a wise choice to keep one at home to satisfy any sudden cravings. I enjoyed the full-bodied taste, which wasn’t too bitter as well.

To be fair, the only type of Instant coffee I’ll ever drink is Dalgona coffee, so I decided to make a cup to test the comparison with the usual Instant coffee I have at home. And I love the taste! I’m not really good at describing coffees to be honest, but let’s just say that I will be sticking to this for the time-being!

Fun fact: Re- instant coffee is processed in a factory in Vietnam, which prioritises reducing and recycling water, and has reduced water usage by 38% from 2014 to 2019.

Assorted Nuts

The assorted nuts contains a powerhouse of beneficial nutrients such as protein, healthy fats, magnesium, manganese, copper, and vitamin K. Besides just eating them as a snack, you can also add them to cooked dishes like pasta and pineapple rice. While I’m in love with nutty flavours for my drinks and desserts, munching on nuts is not really my kind of thing. My family really loves nuts though, and they are very particular about the ingredients. In fact, they are glad that Re- nuts are 100% natural with no added sugar or preservatives!

My mum did find the natural salted cashews a little too salty for her palate due to the additional layer of skin. But it’s nice that they have two different versions to suit different preferences!

Nutty Muesli

For those who don’t know what is muesli, its usually made with a mix of oats, nuts, seeds or dried fruits. In this case, the nutty muesli contains gluten-free rolled oats, honey, and quinoa that was farmed organically by farmer partners in Peru. Granola is my top favourite ingredient when it comes to yoghurts and acai, so I was really excited to try out the muesli! (which is similar to granola except that it’s not baked)

The mixture was pretty balanced and not sweet at all, and it is really a great superfood add-on to many healthy dishes. You can even bake it with banana bread, which is a featured recipe on their site.

For health-conscious and environmentally-friendly individuals, needless to say, Re- food products are perfect as they are 100% natural and made with sustainable methods. Even for sinful eaters like me who usually shy away from “healthy and bland food”, I was still able to enjoy the true taste of these snacks and coffee!
