Review | Crack The Case: Mind Hunter in Singapore

Do you love escape rooms or solve mystery games? I personally enjoy such activities and I love a good thriller mystery movie too! There’s a new mystery game in Singapore called Crack The Case: Mind Hunter and it was a really unique and fun experience.

Synopsis:

Dr Nithin, a renowned psychologist, has partnered with the CID to beta-test the Mind Hunter, a device invented to study the minds of criminals. He is inviting participants to volunteer to pilot this program for the first time.

Participants will enter into the disturbed mind of David Menon, an alleged psychopath who is suspected of abducting three women. In order to locate the victims and potentially save them, you will need to engage with various characters within David’s mind and gather clues from his subconscious to uncover crucial information.

Escape rooms usually confine participants into a room, but this mystery game allows you to roam around 2 storeys of the building to find clues. It was an immersive and interactive experience – besides exploring the rooms to hunt for information, you can also watch ‘mini performances’ and decipher the mystery. At the end of the 1 and half hours session, you can gather in groups or work on your own to solve the following questions:

Why did he kill the 3 woman, how did he commit the murder and where did he hide the bodies?

Overall, the experience was quite special as I did not try out such activities before. However, I felt like they could possibly up the challenge further by coming up with more questions (but that’s just my personal opinion!)
