Review | XVXII Custom Jewellery Workshop

Owning a piece of unique jewellery has always been something I love. And that’s why I have a big collection of Pandora bracelets and charms at home. But of course that can add up to a huge cost after some time. If you’re looking for something more affordable while being able to enjoy the process of customising your own accessory, you should give XVXII a try.

I attended the Level 2 workshop which includes:

⁃ 4 design options (gold/ silver)
⁃ Make your own base from scratch (anything within 45cm)
⁃ 3 charms
⁃ 1 Polaroid, 1 drink

Prior to this, I had some experience with plier work so it was quite manageable. But in my opinion, I felt like it was pretty alright when I used pliers on jewellery the very first time so I still highly recommend going for level 2!

I chose a thicker necklace to go for a more vogue style. There were quite a lot of charms to choose from and there were at least 3 different types of alphabet charms which was definitely what I was aiming for (it’s a personalised necklace after all). If you’re not a necklace person, you can also customise bracelets/ anklets. And if the length fits, you can even make 3 bracelets with 1 charm each!

For the charms, I chose a “M” to represent my name, Aries as my horoscope and a cute heart. All 3 charms were quite similar with crystal designs, which complemented really well with each other.

Although this is quite a simple DIY workshop, it’s also one of the few workshops where I would consistently use/ wear the item that I’ve made instead of chucking them aside in my room. Love how they added “pink party” vibes to the workshop so if you’re interested in hosting a bachelorette party or simply just looking for a girlie date idea, here’s your chance!
