I’ve already lost count on the number of times when I crave for Sushi so badly, and yet refuse to step out of the house. #LazyGluttonLife. Especially during this critical period of the COVID-19 virus, staying home on weekends have become a “default setting” for my husband and I. Glad to satisfy our sushi cravings with Sushi Delivery SG! Who says that we have to be at a restaurant to enjoy delicious food?
The ordering process is quite hassle-free! Just head to www.sushidelivery.sg, choose the food items and click add to cart. Checkout and your food will get delivered in 45 minutes! There is also free delivery for orders above $60.
Besides offering the usual favourites – Sashimi, Sushi and Bento Sets for individual portions, there are also party sets for birthdays, housewarming or family gatherings. There were plenty of choices for a delivery menu, and it honestly took me quite a while to decide what I wanted to eat, as I wanted almost everything off the menu.
Chicken Rainbow Maki (8pcs)
Can’t say no to this rainbow maki even though I’m not really a fan of chicken filling when it comes to sushi, but I was attracted to the vibrant colours from the fish roe that made the whole dish looked so appealing! Surprisingly, I like the rainbow maki a lot! The chicken texture wasn’t too dry and actually complimented with the sushi quite well.
Cream Cheese Mentaiko Salmon Aburi (8pcs)
This was just one of the best that we had, and the taste is still lingering in my mouth till now. If you love Mentaiko, you need to order this! The salmon literally melted in my mouth and the mentaiko cream cheese was really creamy and savoury. Freshness is surely not compromised too! And just check out how generous they were with the Mentaiko portion.
I would totally order this again!
Chuka Idako
The Idako pieces were also quite generous and large in size, definitely quite worth the price!
California Maki (8pcs)
A signature maki that cannot be missed! It’s fresh and crunchy combination made it a delectable piece that is so classic yet delicious. The mildly tangy flavours were just right, and the sushi had a pleasantly firm texture, which is a great thing because I really don’t like sushi rice dropping all over my plate!
Chicken Karaage (8pcs)
The Chicken Karaage was a slight miss for me as it wasn’t very crunchy upon arrival. Nevertheless, it was still an enjoyable dish due to the balanced spices.
One of my greatest concerns about ordering Sushi for delivery is the freshness of the food. But Sushi Delivery’s food is freshly sourced daily from Japan and air flown to Singapore within 18 hours to ensure maximum freshness.
Don’t worry about stale food as their chefs only start preparing the order just before delivery, and it will be sent within 1 hour to your location to ensure the food is kept proper and fresh!
