I posted this on my IG the other day, and friends thought that I’m expecting. HAHAHA. Not so soon… This is a stroller, but for pets instead! While pet owners usually use this kind of stroller for their dogs and cats, me being a piggy mum and slave to my babies, I am getting them a stroller to ease the transport between my house and my parent’s.
As I recently decided to move back to my parent’s place on Thursday and Friday nights due to my busy schedule, I wanted to bring my piggies with me, for 2 good reasons:
I don’t want to be away from them!
My mum pampers them a lot and it’s really heartwarming to watch them “interact”
Partially (And honestly), it’s also a really good excuse for me to buy them a stroller, in which I have secretly wanted to do so for a long time, but never really had a proper reason to. I have initially wanted to buy a new carrier bag.
This is my current carrier, which was bought from Taobao when I first got them. It’s a decent carrier but also a little inconvenient if I were to walk home because it’s a sling bag.
So I wanted to get a backpack carrier with some transparency so that the backpack can balance properly on both my shoulders as well as to allow my babies to get a clearer view. But I also didn’t want them to be too exposed and uncomfortable. Here are some of the backpacks that I have considered.

Cons: Too bulky to carry and might be too transparent for the pigs

Cons: Base isn’t firm and pigs may not be able to balance well

Cons: Too bulky to carry
I also had some concerns that the bag might still be too small for them. And with the misc stuff that I’ll be bringing back, it might be too many things to manage.
That’s when I had this sudden idea to buy them a pet stroller. Wow I spent the entire day looking for the perfect stroller in mind as I had to consider between the following:
- Price
- Size cannot be too bulky
- MUST have compartment to place misc stuff

The price is particularly cheap because I found the item through Taobao and added into my Prime wishlist. So it probably applies the same for the rest of the designs if I had searched through Taobao first!

Love that this is 3-wheels instead of 4, making it slightly less bulky
Cons: Slightly worried about the bulkiness as compared to the first design (About 5kg)
That’s when I found the perfect design on Taobao which can be converted To Prime as mentioned above!

Pros: Has everything that I need, and BEST OF ALL? The basket is removable! This is a really convenient aspect as I can leave the stroller near the door while I bring the basket back to their cage where I carry them out. I can also use the basket separately when I am driving.
Cons: Almost none! Maybe a little sad that it didn’t come in the grey shade that I like, so I chose full black instead. But it’s close to perfect!
