Cycling @ ECP with boyfriend

My boyf and I had a ‘sporty’ date earlier this weekend! We were getting bored with the usual movie-dinner date sessions and so we decided to go to East Coast Park for cycling! I haven’t cycled for about a year already (I think). And I still have this tiny phobia for the first (maybe 20min..) because I fell from the bike about 2-3 years ago and I had a little scar on my knee ): So I’m quite afraid to use the brake because I braked so hard and the bike just overturned :/

But anyway, I think I’m pretty alright with the bike after some warm up! 😀

We both wore our new top bought from Bugis!

Quoted from my IG – Addicted to Starbucks that I need the logo on me too!

We rented the bike for 3 hours and at the start we kept stopping to take photos hahaha.

Individual photo of us on the bike when we reached one end of ECP. ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED for me! We cycled the whole stretch of ECP TWICE! I kept cycling faster and faster, so my boy asked if the music helped me hahaha. I guess so? Anyway I really enjoyed the cool breeze while I’m cycling, the weather was in fact quite cooling. It wasn’t too sunny nor rainy and it was perfect for a cycling day for us.

Anyway, I spotted some family bikes. I’m not sure what is it exactly called but it looks quite interesting. Boyf asked me if I wanted to try it, but I figured it out that it looks quite hard to control and probably get bored of it after awhile due to the constraint when two persons are controlling one big bike.

After we’re done with cycling, we just headed to a nearby bar restaurant called Beach Cabana Restaurant, just beside the bicycle Kiosk. We were already lazy to travel and find dining places so we just settled for this! Didn’t think that we could actually head to T.G.I.Fridays instead! But it’s always not a bad choice to try new food anyway.

Margarita Frozen (Lime)

S$14.80

Mixed with Tequila, Triple Sec & Lime Juice, blended with ice. Served with garnish.

Long Island Tea

S$14.80

Mixed with Gin, Vodka, Tequila & Triple Sec, served with Lemon slice

Black Pepper Chicken

Spicy Herb Chicken

I didn’t expect much from the food but it gave me a pleasant surprise! The price was really reasonable at about $14-$20 for the standard food like spaghetti and chicken. And I absolutely loved the mash potato that was the side dish. I never like to have mash potato for my sides but this was really not enough for me at all! Actually, I really don’t know to describe the delectable taste of the potato, but just go and try it!! The chicken was really up to standard too. It wasn’t just any ordinary spicy sauce, their spicy herb sauce really complimented the chicken and I just kept dipping the meat into the sauce. For about $14, this is really a worthy plate of dish.

I’m so glad everything went well on that day and it was a simple yet enjoyable date with my boyf. At the same time, we were having a ‘mini’ workout although we weren’t that exhausted at the end of the day. Nevermind, it’s still part of exercising!!!

I’m so glad that my exams are over! AND MY HOLIDAYS ARE HERE! I got all four As for this semester too (: Gotta work harder! PLAY HARD FOR NOW!
