25 Feb: Yay to no Monday Blues but a fulfilling day spent with completing tasks and meeting people I care about! My dad has been traveling quite a lot recently, which means that I was able to use the car and travel to meet Alicia at her place. She has a new pup called Mimi and I have been waiting ages to see her. It has only been a few months and she’s sadly already 3-4 x her previous size, but still has the capability of melting one’s heart.
We used to meet in town for Playnation dates but after we both bought our Nintendo switch, I think it’s unnecessary. Feels more shiok to just order Grabfood and nua. And playing Rayman legends was a perfectly great choice in making us laugh till stomach pain. Actually more like hand pain because we kept getting stuck at certain levels.
I would perhaps consider getting this game but I seem too busy and occupied with other commitments. And this game would be a lot less fun to play solo.
At this point of time, Bubbles was getting a little moody because we’re leaving the house. And he refuses to look up for a photo. And here’s Mimi hiding under the sofa with a guilty face.
Mandatory selfie with the cute pup.
Here’s our Grabfood meal from Sushi Delish (Quite meh :/), thankfully we applied with voucher promo code that saved us quite a fair bit. In case you aren’t aware, GrabFood has a Grabclub subscription where you pay about $8 to get 30 free deliveries a month + 2 different vouchers. I swear it’s really really worth the deal because GrabFood doesn’t require minimum order at this point of time, means that I could just order a Bubble tea/ 1 person meal and have it delivered for FREE at any time (Even during peak hours)
I’ve been ordering more GrabFood than ever before. Nope, not guilty!
I had some spare time after that and headed to Azora to check out the toiletry stuff. I actually wanted to compare the prices between this and Sim Siang Choon. I didn’t like how they were not transparent with the prices as compared to SSC though.
I met hubby in the later afternoon and we headed to Tampines for a quick movie date – Happy Death Day 2U. I love psychotic/ thriller movies like these even though I still cover my eyes because of the suspense.
While there were mixed reviews about the first movie, I kinda like the concept as it involves solving a mystery. The 2nd movie was built upon the first story which also included a in-depth explanation about why the time loop happened. I think it’s worth a watch especially if you want the movie to feel complete.
Quick dinner before we headed back to nua (Lazy piggies)
This white grape jelly was really refreshing! And I found a new love for Boost Smoothies after Playmade ran out of pearls and I had to find an alternative that night. I’m not sure if it’s the ramen causing me to feel really thirsty, or do I really love drinking the smoothie. But it’s definitely a healthier choice than Starbucks and that’s good enough.
