Guess what! I just had a Milk bath and it was oh soooo greattttttt.
(That photo isn’t my bathtub btw haha)
It wasn’t an intentional plan, but just happened that my home fridge wasn’t closed entirely by accident, so most of the food in the fridge was spoilt. Not completely, but since we bought fresh milk, it wouldn’t be so ideal to consume it after a night of not chilling it..
So my mum just suggested that I have a Milk bath! Never had a DIY Milk bath before, except in spa when I go on holidays with my family.
This is what I have come out with for myself after reading a few simple tutorials:
♥♥♥♥
1) Wash your body at the shower
2) Prepare the bathtub filled with lukewarm water (About 3/4 full)
3) Pour in 3 cups of fresh milk
4) Submerge yourself in the bathtub for about 15 minutes
5) Use a cloth to scrub your body gently
6) After 15 minutes, take a quick shower

I know its only a simple tutorial, I can’t be bothered with the complicated steps..
You can actually enhance your Milk bath by adding other common ingredients like honey, oatmeal, baking powder or essential oils to make your Milk bath more refreshing. Milk powder can also be used instead of fresh milk.
It’s kinda boring to be stuck in the bathtub for 15 minutes, but my skin instantly got smoother. I hope it’s not my hallucination hahah. And I found many benefits of Milk bath too.
♥ Dead skin cells can be removed to have glowing and radiant skin
♥ The milk can moisturize the skin to make it smooth and soft
♥ Improves complexion and skin tone
♥ Milk contains nutrients which can nourish your skin
♥ Some said that it can sooth skin conditions like Eczema
♥ May also help in sunburn redness
SOOOOOOOOO…
Sit back, relax and enjoy the Milk bath!
