Indulgence - Jpot

Like what my boyf has agreed, Tampines is really a food heaven for both of us! All our favourite restaurants & eateries are in Tampines. Let me name it – Sakae Sushi, Sushi Tei, MOF Lenas, MOF Izakaya, Ssikkek BBQ (His favourite not mine), Swensens, Seoul garden, Texas Chicken, Udders ice-cream, KOI, Tonkichi, & Jpot! Which we just went yesterday.

This is the first time I’m eating @ Jpot with my boy alone. I usually go with my family & once, my parents invited him along too. The food is super awesome! I’m especially a Wagyu beef lover. But i only eat that when I’m with my family. So we ordered the 2 person set for $58++. The set meal includes the seafood set, 2 soup base, 2 choices of meat (We picked marinated beef & beef brisket), rice or noodles, & vege, mushroom. Dear chose his soup base as Bak ku teh & mine is fish head soup. Would love to order Bak ku teh next time, the pepper taste is so strong & its so yummy! But too salty towards the end..

The beef & vege. The marinated beef isn’t very nice for both of us, really regretted choosing it..

His soup in this photo is the wrong order, but the waiter help us to change back to the correct soup.

We ordered this ala-carte as well – Fried fish skin. Its $5.80, pretty ex, but it tastes really good! Much better than potato chips of course! *Munch munch!*

We also had this complimentary marinated chicken as there was an ongoing promotion. We are supposed to post a photo of us dining at the restaurant on their FB page & receive this. Its the last day yesterday. We’re lucky! But we were too full to finish everything in the end. The bill is about $80++, but totally worth it! IF only there’s a Jpot buffet going on..!
