Media Invite: Panasonic Cooking Demo Class for X’mas Goodies

I blogged about the Bake Fest previously, but seems like I haven’t got enough of baking yet. So I’m introducing to you baking addicts about Panasonic’s Bread Maker (SD-P104). This would be suitable for either the bread lovers or people who just enjoy baking, like me!

Before you exit this page carrying the mindset that you’re one who can neither cook nor bake, read this. The steps are absolutely fuss-free if you want to bake simple fresh loaves of bread for everyday consumption. You don’t really need much cooking experience to bake because the bread maker will do everything for you.

ALL you need to do, is to measure the ingredients required and just dump everything into the compartments accordingly. Simple, isn’t it?

I’ll be sharing the recipes that I got from Panasonic below! Read on for more.

  • 10g Butter
  • 1tsp Salt
  • 2tbsp Castor Sugar
  • 1tbsp Milk powder
  • 200ml Cold Water

  3. Select Menu no. 2 for “Rapid” mode, and select “Raisin” mode, next press start
  4. Once ready, remove bread from pan, leave to cool before cutting

See, the instructions look so easy and straightforward isn’t it?

You don’t have to worry about under-mixing or over-mixing the ingredients. Everything is done automatically in the bread maker. It’s really convenient, don’t you think? You can even set the timer ahead of time and prepare the ingredients just before you head to bed, and have yourself waking up to the aroma of bread in the morning.

Did you know that the bread that you bought outside is actually still considered unhealthy? Especially with all the preservatives added in, imagine how much you’re gonna take into your body if you consume bread daily?

Some of the bloggers trying out how to roll the dough into mini round shapes.

This is my favourite bun of the day! Especially when it’s piping hot just out of the oven, super delicious! I can’t help but take a few more servings of this. The melted mozzarella cheese was a perfect addition to the bun.

Homemade buns but they look really delicious and taste even better than those sold outside.

  4. Divide dough into 2 portions, shape dough into a flat circle and place it onto baking paper
  5. Press the cherry tomatoes, black olives and mozzarella cheese into the dough
  6. Leave dough to rise at 40℃ for about 50minutes or till it doubles in size
  7. Brush the surface with olive oil, sprinkle with black pepper, rosemary and paprika

This reminds me of a Margherita Pizza! The crust is crunchy and the bread texture is soft inside. And I can’t stop repeating how nice is the Mozzarella cheese. You should add it in ALL recipes (or most). Maybe I’ll even throw in prawns, hams, and make lots of other varieties.

This Cooking Demo really changed my perception of baking homemade bread. I never knew it was this simple and easy. My mum was initially against getting a bread maker as she assumed that it would be very troublesome. But after knowing about all these, she was more open to the idea, especially because she’s a very health-conscious person.

Imagine baking all these yummy bread, and bringing to school or work to impress your colleagues or friends!
