Thai food is always on the top of my craving lists and it has also been my recent food addiction! I think that the simple reason is due to the spiciness of the food. It has a very distinct spicy taste which I really love! Especially green curry with coconut milk is simply amazingly delicious!
Nakhon Kitchen, known to many Thai food lovers, is situated in the heartland of Bedok where the queuing time takes about 30 minutes or more. The place is not air-conditioned and rather open, but considering the fact that the food is so tasty and affordable (with no service charge/ GST), I guess I wouldn’t really mind!
I have been to Nakhon Kitchen twice for the past week already, and a couple of times in the past. I still haven’t got sick of the food and I’m even craving for it again!
Thai Iced Tea

I can’t really do any fair comparisons as I hardly ever drink Thai iced tea, but I would say that I’m loving the sweet original taste of it! A perfect thirst quencher when you order spicy food. I would prefer to opt for less ice as the drink would become really diluted at the end of the meal.
Green Curry – Chicken

My absolute favourite dish of all time! The sweet fragrance, richness of the creamy coconut milk and subtle spiciness of this green curry is so enticing to my taste buds! And within it contains tender and soft chicken meat that is soaked in the delicious green curry gravy. Plain white rice can never be missed out when it comes to curry or tom yum! The gravy is pretty much on the thin side in which I preferred, as I could enjoy it as gravy or soup.
There are other choices of prawn or beef as well.
Stir-fried Kang Kong (Thai)

The amount of chilli they added in was absolutely numbing our tongues and burning our throats! Too spicy for my liking even when I specifically requested for less chilli.. I think it was a waste.
Honey Chicken

The Honey Chicken was actually one of our favourite dishes to order at Nakhon Kitchen! Being well-fried with a slight crispy texture, this dish was full of goodness. It really left a great impression on me when I first tried it long ago.
Pineapple Rice

The pineapple rice was really fragrant with crunchy shrimps added into it. Well, I still prefer green curry with rice!
