Fuss-free Steamboat Experience with Steamboat Delivery Singapore

Hotpot/ Steamboat has always been my all-time favourite. Whether it’s dine-out at restaurants or self preparation at home, I love indulging in the steamboat experience. Self preparation might be a more affordable option, but it comes with a lot of hassle. This involves: Heading out to the market to buy the groceries and lugging it back home, transferring the food from packet onto plates (some even require slicing), and finally washing all the plates/utensils after the meal. For those who regularly prepare home-cooked food, this is probably nothing. But personally, I find it such a trouble!

Thanks to Best in Singapore for recommending a fuss-free steamboat delivery which allowed me to enjoy a complete steamboat experience within the comforts of my own home! They have also been listed by Best in Singapore as one of the best steamboat deliveries in Singapore.

We ordered the Steamboat King Bundle B (For 3-4 pax), and it comes with an optional FREE portable stove set (14cm) + fuel if you do not have any readily available steamboat utensils. Since we always enjoy regular steamboat dinner at home, we wanted to keep a yin-yang dual steamboat pot for future use, and topped up 1 piece at only $13.90. You can shop for other portable steamboat accessories on their website too.

From the 8 different soup base selections, we chose Collagen (+$5) and Kimchi soup. The spicy and savoury flavour reminded me of army stew, and it was a great complement the shabu shabu pork. The collagen soup, on the other hand, was not as creamy and rich like what you would expect a collagen base to be. Instead, it had a lighter taste. If you prefer something not too overwhelming for a simple soup base, this is quite a good choice too.

The soup portion that was included in the package was more than enough for the entire meal. In fact, we decided to add water towards the end of our meal as the soup was already very flavourful after adding in the rest of the ingredients.

The set meal includes a few variety of meat choices like chicken slices, shabu shabu pork belly, pork collar, toman fish, chicken sausage, superior fish paste and assorted vegetables – more than enough to satisfy your steamboat cravings!

You may even top up for Hokkaido snow pork shabu for only $4.9!

I personally prefer the pork shabu shabu which had a good amount of juicy fats, although I wished that the slices were slightly thinner for easier chewing. R preferred the chicken slices and he commented that there was a subtle sweet taste which he enjoyed. Overall, the vegetables were really fresh and I can’t believe that we finished almost all the vegetables when we usually don’t!

We appreciate that the fish slices were more premium than the common fish fillet given at some restaurants. (Although I must say… I personally prefer fish fillet for steamboat!) *Do be careful though, as we found bones in some of the slices!

Overall, it was a very convenient steamboat experience for the both of us. It took us less than 10 minutes to clear everything off the table and we only had to wash about 2-3 items – absolutely hassle-free and simple!
